The Safari Hunt

Who says you have to travel far to go on a safari?  With a little imagination, we here at PattyKakesKidz didn't have to go that far.  Join us as we travel through the deserts of our own preschool and discover the many animals found normally in far away lands......
We spotted a family of Giraffes
(did you know that the spots on a giraffes body is as unique as your own fingerprints? wow)

This one is 24" long.

What is the length of our own necks?
This little guy's neck is 4" long.

The Giraffe family was so cool, we had to make some binoculars and go on a animal safari hunt.

Next we just had to make a huge group zebra.
And the strips go on.....

Can you imagine what they discovered next?

We had so much fun on our safari hunt this week.  Remember, you don't have to travel far to have fun and learn at the same time.
This past week was very busy, as we celebrated Cinco de Mayo and Mother's Day.
Moms, you all are wonderful.  I hope you enjoyed your special day and enjoyed the little gift the children made.  Here is their Mother's Day gift.
These handprints are real and only 1" tall.  They're shrink a dink prints of the children's hands.
 Happy Mother's Day all.
Until next week where we learn all about Pets
