Happy Halloween

We started off our morning with Pumpkin Pancakes.  Our homebased preschool smelled so yummy as the children walked in.

We then went trick or treating in the local neighborhood. The kids looked so great in their costumes.

We had a wicked witch and a red haired mermaid.

Strolled down a Willowglen neighborhood.

Trotted along the street singing 5 Little Pumpkins

Said the magic words, “Trick or Treat”.

Listened to rules why we couldn't run ahead alone.

The Mermaids and Lions held hands.

Fellow Ironman Pals.

Went home and enjoyed blood red cupcakes despite the staining of the frosting.

. Lion loved the cupcakes too.

Even Ironman couldn't get enough.

Then we headed to a haunted house.

It was a bit spooky but we helped the kids through it.

Then we headed to the local library to trick or treat in a mini parade.

After our parade through the library, we sat and listened to a spooky story.

The story was very intriguing.

We had a whole area to ourselves.
It was a 9 plus hour full day of fun from the moment the kids walked into the door till the moment they went home.  We were all exhausted.  Despite the full day, we didn't eat one piece of candy.  The restraint was awesome.  Now, after these little ghost and goblins went home, I can't attest to the candy eating then LOL.
Happy Halloween everyone from PattyKakesKidz.
