A week of fun

Just thought I'd share some pics about the fun we had this week.
First, we made Ana, the Anaconda and studied a bit about her.  Where she lived, her colors, her environment, her appetite and size. And we watched a 20 minute video of Diego saves the Anaconda. LOOK, IT'S AN ANACONDA!

Next there was our swimming and water play day.

We then matched some bugs to reinforce our colors.

We made Red Eyed Tree Frogs and Red Dart Poisonous Frogs which I also pictured above with their Anacondas.

And a week isn't complete without some kind of fieldtrip.
How about a trip and learning experience to our local Farmers Market.

Fresh organic tomatoes.  The best!
Until next week with PattyKakes Kidz

Ultimately, Kindergarten

Kindergartener #1
It's bitter sweet in this profession.  We spend our time preparing children for their future by exploring their world. And we take time to nurture them in a homelife due to their tender young age.  Then, they grow up and before you know it, they are heading off to Kindergarten.
Does this sound all to familiar?

I asked our two kindergarteners what would they enjoy doing to
Kindergartener #2

celebrate their transition, and they both yelled out, Chuck E. Cheese.
You can only guess where we planned our celebration.

Look at the great fun we had below with all the children.

The Fire Engine Ride.

Driving the train.

Video Gaming with our best buddies.

Bowling with a friend.

Riding on the rides.

The Merry Go Round.

Horseback Riding.

The Bopping Machine.

Driving the big tire car.

It's my turn on the car too.

Playing games with a little help.

Oh yeah, did I mention we actually ate PIZZA at
Chuck E. Cheese Pizza? LOL
Just another great exploration of our world with PattyKakesKidz.

Happy Kindergarten graduation to Nicole and Julian.  You both will be missed so much by all your friends. Hugs, kisses and lots of love to you both!

The Trike Ride

You have 3 wheels, beautiful weather and anxious children ready to explore their world.
Nothing like a beautiful Trike Ride in Baylands Park
From libraries, concerts, beaches, museums, restaurants, parks and so much more, I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work with PattyKakesKidz children in our homebased preschool, but being able to watch them engage their world is so beautiful.
It was a difficult journey traveling the muddy terrain with tricycles,
but the tenacity of our children is beyond words.
First stop, discovering a fossil.  There are ropes, slides, airplanes, turtles and bridges.

And all good things come to an end.
Until our next fieldtrip exploring our world.
